Welcome to Kennel (“App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Kennel mobile application available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. By creating an account or using the Kennel App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Overview

This app connects pet owners (“Service Receivers”) with trusted pet care providers (“Service Providers”) offering services such as dog walking, grooming, and more. All payments are processed securely using Stripe.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the App.

3. Account Registration

To use our services, you must register and provide accurate and up-to-date information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Types of Users

  • Service Receivers: Users who book and pay for pet care services.
  • Service Providers: Users who offer and manage pet care services.

    5. Payments

    All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Users may be charged one-time fees. Prices may include applicable taxes and are subject to change.

    6. Cancellations & Refunds

    Each Service Provider sets their own cancellation and refund policies. Kennel is not responsible for refunds for services already rendered. Please check individual provider policies before booking.

    7. Account Deletion

    You may request account deletion at any time via the app or by contacting support. Deleting your account will permanently erase all associated data and cannot be undone.

    8. User Conduct & Zero-Tolerance Policy

    You agree not to post, transmit, or engage in any content or behavior that is:

    • Abusive, harassing, or threatening
    • Defamatory, discriminatory, or illegal
    • Sexually explicit or violent
    • Spamming, misleading, or fraudulent
    • Harmful to other users, animals, or the app environment

    We enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content or abusive users. Violations may result in immediate content removal and account suspension or termination without notice.

    Users may:

    • Report content or users who violate these Terms using built-in reporting features.
    • Block users to prevent further communication (where applicable).

    All reports are reviewed within 24 hours, and appropriate action is taken.

    9. Service Provider Obligations

    Service Providers must:

    • Comply with local pet care regulations and animal welfare laws
    • Offer safe, respectful, and professional services
    • Keep service details, pricing, and availability up to date
    • Maintain clear communication with clients

      10. Limitation of Liability

      You use the App at your own risk. Kennel is not responsible for:

      • Any personal injury or damage caused by interactions between users
      • The quality, accuracy, or reliability of services offered
      • Any content shared by users
      • Technical issues or data loss
      • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

      Kennel’s liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

      11. Intellectual Property

      All content, trademarks, graphics, and software in the App are the property of Kennel or its licensors. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any part of the App without written permission.

      12. Modifications

      We may revise these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes your agreement to the updated Terms.

      13. Governing Law

      These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

      14. Reporting & Moderation

      We are committed to maintaining a safe environment. You can report abusive users or inappropriate content via in-app features or by contacting us directly. Our moderation team will respond and act on reports within 24 hours.

      We reserve the right to remove content or suspend users found in violation of these Terms.
